The port of Dar es Salaam
Dar es Salaam is Tanzania's principal deep-water port and one of the practical export routes for copper leaving the Zambian and DRC copperbelts.
The port handles containerised and bulk cargo through the same facility, so a buyer taking an FCL parcel of cathode and a buyer taking bulk concentrate are served from the same operational base.
Our premises in Vingunguti Industrial Area sit inland of the port on the JN Road corridor, which keeps consolidation, inspection, and container stuffing close to the quay.

Containerised (FCL)
Copper cathode, bagged agro commodities, and flexitank liquids ship in 20ft and 40ft containers. Suits buyers taking regular, moderate-volume parcels.
Bulk vessel
Copper concentrate and ore, and larger agricultural lots, load as bulk cargo where volume and destination handling make it the better economics.
Break bulk & bagged
Jumbo bags and press-packed bales for commodities that need containment but not full containerisation.
Documentation Handled
The paperwork that clears your cargo
The exact set depends on commodity and destination, and is confirmed in the sales contract before loading.
Certificate of Origin (CoO)
Issued for the consignment, confirming country of origin for customs and duty purposes at destination.
Certificate of Analysis (CoA)
Laboratory confirmation that the cargo meets the specification agreed in the sales contract.
SGS / third-party inspection
Independent inspection of quality, weight, and loading, arranged pre-shipment where the buyer requires it.
Phytosanitary certificate
Plant-health certification for agricultural commodities, issued by the competent Tanzanian authority.
Fumigation certificate
Confirmation of fumigation treatment for agricultural cargo where the destination or commodity requires it.
Bill of Lading & packing list
Standard shipping and cargo-manifest documentation issued on loading.
